MRM Mechanical & Haven House Children’s Hospice

We are proud sponsors of Haven House

We recently sponsored a fund raiser for Haven House Children’s Hospice by collecting Christmas trees and recycling them.

We also donate monthly to the charity.

Haven House has supported hundreds of families, looking after children and young people, from birth, who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Residential and community services extend across North and North East London, West Essex including respite and end-of-life care.

In the hospice children benefit from play activities as well as day and overnight stays. Through the Holistic Care Centre, children can access a range of therapies, including music therapy, physiotherapy and therapeutic yoga.

Families can also take advantage of support groups for mums and dads and siblings (Buddies) as well as complementary therapies designed to reduce stress and anxiety.

In our grounds there is a tranquil sensory garden surrounded by many acres of beautiful woodland.

Haven House needs to raise over £4m per year and if you would like to donate, please click here.

MRM Mechanical & Wanstead Golf Club

MRM are proud sponsors of Wanstead Rugby Football Club, who have unprecedented success in the coaching and development across all age groups and particularly  in the youth sectors.

The Club has been running since 1892 as Leytonstone RFC making it the second oldest rugby club in Essex next to Southend. The club took the Heron as it symbol, those being the most historically associated to Wanstead after being brought to the area by Sir John Heron in the 16th Century to mark his name and thus figuring in the borough's arms. Soon after being established the club adopted the team colours of blue and white which are still in use today.

MRM have worked in partnership with Wanstead Golf Club in redesigning their on course drainage systems and have managed to resolve may longstanding plumbing issues in the clubhouse.
